X-Ray Services

Advanced X-ray imaging with minimal radiation exposure. Our cutting-edge equipment provides clear, detailed images for accurate diagnostics while prioritizing your safety.

Understanding X-Ray Imaging

X-ray imaging is one of the oldest and most commonly used diagnostic tools in medicine. It uses small amounts of electromagnetic radiation to create images of the internal structures of your body, particularly bones and certain tissues.

Our facility utilizes state-of-the-art digital X-ray technology that produces high-quality images with significantly lower radiation doses than traditional X-ray systems. These digital images can be enhanced and manipulated to provide optimal viewing for accurate diagnosis.

X-rays are quick, painless, and provide valuable information for diagnosing a wide range of conditions, from bone fractures to lung diseases. They're often the first imaging test doctors recommend when evaluating many common health concerns.

Modern X-Ray Machine

Benefits of Digital X-Ray

Our advanced X-ray technology offers significant advantages over traditional radiography.

Fast & Efficient

Quick imaging procedure allowing for rapid diagnosis of many common conditions

Minimal Radiation

Our advanced digital X-ray technology minimizes radiation exposure while maintaining image quality

Non-Invasive

Painless examination with no needles or incisions required for most procedures

Cost-Effective

Affordable imaging option that provides valuable diagnostic information at a lower cost

Clinical Applications

X-rays serve as valuable diagnostic tools across numerous medical specialties.

Bone Fractures & Injuries

Detect broken bones, stress fractures, dislocations, and evaluate proper bone alignment

Chest & Lung Imaging

Evaluate lung conditions, detect pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, and heart-related issues

Dental Examinations

Visualize tooth structure, roots, jaw alignment, and detect cavities or infections

Joint Assessment

Evaluate arthritis, bone spurs, joint spacing, and degenerative changes in joints

Abdominal Imaging

Detect bowel obstructions, ingested objects, and certain abdominal conditions

Spine Evaluation

Assess spinal alignment, detect fractures, arthritis, and structural abnormalities

X-Ray Imaging Options

We offer different types of X-ray procedures to meet various diagnostic needs.

Standard X-Rays

Conventional X-ray examinations that capture static images of bones, joints, chest, and abdomen. These quick procedures provide essential diagnostic information for many common conditions.

  • Skeletal X-rays (extremities, spine, skull)
  • Chest X-rays
  • Abdominal X-rays

Contrast Studies

X-ray examinations that use contrast materials (dyes) to enhance visibility of specific structures or functions. These specialized procedures provide detailed images of soft tissues and internal organs.

  • Barium studies (upper GI, small bowel, barium enema)
  • Intravenous pyelogram (IVP)
  • Arthrography (joint studies)

Preparing for Your X-Ray

Before Your Appointment

  • Inform us if you're pregnant or might be pregnant
  • Remove jewelry or metal objects from the area being examined
  • Follow specific instructions for contrast studies (if applicable)

During The Procedure

  • Standard X-rays take only a few minutes to complete
  • You'll be positioned to get the best view of the area being examined
  • You'll need to hold still during the brief exposure

After Your X-Ray

  • Resume normal activities immediately
  • For contrast studies, drink plenty of fluids if advised
  • Your images will be interpreted by a radiologist and results sent to your doctor
